Bring support workflows together
I designed and developed Internal Support Workspace to consolidate support workflows into one desktop application. The project connects my IT support background with practical software development.
My professional support work includes investigating escalated device, software, and connectivity issues, partnering with engineering, and documenting technical findings. This independent project applies that background to tool building.
Implementation and engineering focus
The application uses Python and PySide6 for a Windows desktop interface. Its design centers on making support workflows available in a shared workspace rather than treating every task as a separate tool.
- Interface design: organizing support workflows within a desktop application.
- Automation: bringing repeatable support actions into the application’s workflow.
- Reliability: treating dependable behavior as a development priority.
- Packaging: preparing the Python application for use on Windows.
These are the project’s documented development priorities. Detailed component architecture and deployment results are not yet published.
Scope and current status
This project remains in development. The overview describes its purpose, platform, and engineering focus; it does not claim a completed rollout or measured productivity gains.
Public screenshots and source code are not included here. The Janitorfin case study provides a separate example with public implementation evidence and an interface screenshot.
